Instagram avvia la sperimentazione di un sistema per cui solo chi posta una foto potrà vederne i like ricevuti.
Il social network di Mark Zuckerberg ha deciso di oscurare i like a chi visualizza le foto su Instagram per aiutare gli utenti a concentrarsi maggiormente sul contenuto del post anzichè sul numero dei “mi piace”. La sperimentazione è stata avviata in alcuni Stati, tra cui anche l’Italia: solo l’utente che posta una foto può visualizzare chi ha espresso un “cuoricino”, mentre per tutti i propri follower resterà nascosto. Un sistema simile a quello delle stories, in pratica.
«Vogliamo che Instagram sia un luogo dove tutti possano sentirsi liberi di esprimere se stessi», dice Tara Hopkins, Head of Public Policy Emea di Instagram. «Ciò significa – continua – aiutare le persone a porre l’attenzione su foto e video condivisi e non su quanti Like ricevono. Stiamo avviando diversi test in più paesi per apprendere dalla nostra comunità globale come questa iniziativa possa migliorare l’esperienza su Instagram».
Il test, che è già stato avviato, sarà a rilascio graduale e attualmente interesserà solamente un numero piccolo di utenti, per poi aumentarne la diffusione.
